30 Day Book Challenge! - Day 12
Day 12 – A book you used to love but don’t anymore
I don’t know if I believe in this. Clearly, I wouldn’t be riveted by Clifford: The Big Red Dog anymore, but that doesn’t make me love it any less. Books do not betray me. Books may make me sad or angry, but there is nothing that they could do to make me simply stop loving them. It doesn’t work that way. At least not for me. Even the books I’ve read over and over, I may get sick of them, but I will never love them less. It’s like spending time with a person for too long. I don’t love them any less. I may get annoyed, but I’m not going to disown anyone because I’ve been spending a lot of time with them. Books have always been there for me when people haven’t. If I start creating enemies in books, I wouldn’t have much left. Books are something sure. They aren’t going to change. They aren’t going to get mad at me for anything. They are constant and reliable and if I ever need anything, they are there for me.
I’m a dork, but this question kind of upset me. No matter what happens, there will always be a part of me that loves certain books. No matter how old or sad or lonely I get, it will always be there. And I am not the kind of person to jump off a bandwagon simply because everyone else jumped on. If something gets too much hype, I dislike the hype. Not the book or series.
I love my books. Don’t mess with them.
I’ll fight to the death.
Books on my Desk
Under the Cut because, let’s be real, I have a lot of books.
Also- there will be no judgements
And- if a book shows up twice, that’s not a mistake. I have more than one copy of that book. Simple as that.
I’m starting a book vlog.
you should all watch it because it’s gonna be sick-nasty-awesomesauce-amazing.
If that isn’t enough to get you watching, I’m starting with Harry Potter.
It’s going to be my personal experiences with the books and I’m only reporting on books I like, so. Hell yeah.
I just think I need to say something real quick.
The Hunger Games has been on my reading list for over a year.
OH!!! I know, I can read! :D
remembering that there are ALWAYS more books to be read? Priceless.
So I started this Youtube thing called, “I Talk About Books”
you should watch it.
